Gitgit Water Fall in Singaraja

About 10 km south of Singaraja on the road to Bedugul is the popular waterfall at Gitgit. It’s a large, powerful Gitgit waterfall surrounded by picturesque jungle at the bottom of an impressive gorge.

Accessed by a 1km long path from the main car park, the path passes by countless stalls selling mass produced handicrafts and is relatively easy to navigate, but includes a large number of stairs which could be difficult for the less mobile. The warungs in the car park are the best option for eating in this area and a pre-cooked nasi campur wrapped in a banana leaf is a delicious option (5,000 rupiah).

Given the small amount of time required to walk down to the waterfall and back, it is possible to include it as merely a stopping point on your journey to or daytrip around the north of Bali.

Gitgit Water Fall is very unique. Gitgit waterfall located in the village Gitgit, Sukasada district, Buleleng regency. The distance is about 16 kilometers from the tourist area of Bedugul or 66 kilometers from Denpasar. From the Singaraja city located 11 kilometers to the south toward the Village Pancasari and Bedugul.
